Essential Functions:

  • Communicate with the host staff to update the floor chart continuously throughout the shift.
  • Collects menus and returns them to the Host Area.
  • Perform a perimeter sweep at beginning & end of shift.
  • Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables.
  • Throughout the shift, always ensure that every area is both clean and maintained, both inside and out.
  • Assists the Servers by refilling waters, beverages & providing bread service during dinner hours.
  • Assists in bussing and resetting tables.
  • Informs Management immediately of Guests who are dissatisfied.
  • Maintains professional, composed and calm demeanor at all times.
  • Completes all side-work as directed.
  • Assists in an entire team effort.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Special Skills or knowledge necessary for this position:

  • Full-Service Restaurant Kitchen Experience is desired.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Able to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to be organized in a changing environment.
  • Ability to maintain a calm professional demeanor during periods of uncertainty or crisis.

Daily physical requirements and/or number of pounds that may need to be lifted on the job:

  • Stands during entire shift.
  • Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, pours, carries, and pushes.
  • Lifts and carries tubs, trays, and cases weighing up to 25 lbs. up to 20 times per shift.
  • Frequent exposure to high temperatures, humidity and cold.

Pay Rate:

$17 hr
